The goal of Possession is to destroy your opponent's base and rule the Universe. But how will you do that exactly?
If you want to dominate from the Real Time Strategy perspective, Army mode is the choice.
It allows you to make tactical placement and engagement decisions with your army and manage production of Squads.
As an Army commander, you give one command to one or more squads and they will oblige.
The key to Possession is the Switch, which allows you to switch back and forth between each mode dynamically, while playing, whenever you please.
Need backup while in Unit Mode? Switch to Army Mode to send reinforcements!
Losing an important battle? Switch to Unit Mode to blast your opponents yourself!
Is First Person action with bullets and grenades flying around your head your preference? Jump straight into Unit mode then!
In unit mode, you take over controlling one single unit on the battle field, gaining access to that units Special Ability.
These special abilities vary from unit to unit, ranging from powerful Shields to devastating Air Strikes.
Resources - Humans
Resources are scarce and hard to find. Luckily, you have the Humans to do that for you.
Human Settlements are scattered throughout the map, were the fewer members of mankind left alive have sought refuge. And they are good at finding Minerals for constructing your armies.
But they can also be used for Production - bringing some of these underevolved primates to you base will increase the capacity of your army.
To help you succeed in your mission, you have been granted a base with phenomenal capabilities.
Your Towers stand tall and will fire at any enemy approaching. They can also be uniquely upgraded to cause more damage.
Your Barracks will dispatch new squads of units, ready to serve at your command.
Finally, your precious Core allows you to upgrade your soldiers and is your final bastion. Should your Core fall, then so will you.
